In the beginning, Cepec was one of the very first outplacement
providers and was formed in 1970. Over the years it broadened
its services and built a strong reputation for the complete
range of “person–centred”, high quality
career management services that it offered.
In 1999, it was acquired and assimilated into an international
HR consulting group and successfully provided outplacement
and other career management services to organizations throughout
the United Kingdom and beyond. Cepec was reformed in 2006,
as an independent company, with the objective of deploying
all its knowledge and experience in the service of its many
client organisations.
We understand the commercial pressures on businesses to
perform. Organisations must embrace change and evolve to
stay ahead. People remain their greatest asset. Firstly,
in order to remain an asset, people need help in managing
their careers; secondly, they need coaching to perform up
to and beyond their own expectations. Thirdly, when businesses
merge and restructure, the organisation may need to downsize
the number of established posts. The success, or otherwise,
of such downsizing exercises frequently impacts on the future
performance for the entire business.
